Birthright Israel will host its first Taglit Global Business Summit in Tel Aviv from November 1 to 3. The event, titled Shaping Our Future Together, is expected to draw more than 350 business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs. Over 100 attendees will fly in from 15 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates. They will meet with local executives to discuss innovation, philanthropy, and economic strategy.

The opening night on November 1 features a Gala Evening of Recognition. President Isaac Herzog is scheduled to address the crowd alongside long-time supporters. Dr. Miriam Adelson, a leading backer of the group, will be honored for her philanthropy. Meir Shamir, chairman of the Israeli Board of Donors, and Josh Nash, international chairman of Birthright Israel, are also expected to participate. Representatives from NVIDIA, Wiz, Elbit Systems, El Al, and monday.com will join the evening session.

The main conference day on November 2 focuses on investment and entrepreneurship. Speakers include Sir Ronald Cohen, co-founder of Apax Partners, and Eyal Waldman, founder of Mellanox. Yinon Costica, co-founder of Wiz, and Sean Rad, founder of Tinder, are also on the program. Former Mossad director Yossi Cohen and NVIDIA Israel site leader Amit Krig will share their perspectives. The lineup also includes Yasmin Lukatz, founder of ICON, and Shelly Landsmann, former Microsoft Israel CEO.

The agenda highlights alumni who have transitioned into leadership roles. Avinatan Or, an NVIDIA engineer released from Hamas captivity after 738 days, will speak about his experience. Moran Samuel, a Paralympic basketball player and world champion rower, is also slated to present. These sessions aim to show how the organization's ten-day trips lead to lasting professional and personal bonds.

Gidi Mark, Global CEO of Birthright Israel, described the summit as a natural extension of the group's mission. He stated that bringing global leaders to Israel serves as a statement of confidence in the country's future. Ethy Levy, Vice President of Global Resource Development, noted that conversations at the event could evolve into business partnerships or investments in the next generation.

On November 3, participants will tour Israeli companies and innovation centers. They will also visit communities engaged in rebuilding efforts since October 7. Attendees can volunteer alongside current Birthright participants and meet local initiatives supported by the organization. The summit expands on the group's existing Business Forum, which includes nearly 60 Israeli companies.

Since 1999, nearly one million young Jewish adults from 70 countries have participated in Birthright programs. The organization estimates these activities have added $2.6 billion to the Israeli economy through travel and local spending. A March 2026 study by Brandeis University found that political liberal participants reported a 60% increase in connection to Israel, while non-participants saw a 26% decline.
